A Sultry Wednesday on the
first day of July, witnessed a record breaking attendance to Fathers
& Sons Evening where the sons almost out numbered the fathers and
brothers.
On the subject of visitors, the Guildford Circle was honoured by the presence of Bro. Peter Woodford, Grand President, also visiting Clergy, Fr Alan Sharp. Following the Circle meeting, the Guildfprd brothers and visiting brothers joined the sons in the restaurant for an excellent three course meal prior to which Fr Alan said Grace. After the meal, Bro. Patrick Dowling was presented with his 40 year scroll by Bro. Peter woodford and the occasion is recorded in one of the photographs below.
