Happy Eaters!

On Sunday 26th February, eleven Catenian brothers and ladies met for lunch at the Percy Arms in Chilworth. The venue is obviously a popular one and to say it was busy is somewhat of an understatement! However, the food and the service was excellent and the event was throughly enjoyed by everyone. After lunch, the group embarked on a pleasant walk taking in the history of the Gun Powder Works to which Deacon Bro. Michael Phillips provided a narrative.

The Bursary Boy

The 759th meeting of the Guildford Circle was held at Clandon Regis Golf Club on Wednesday 1st February 2023. In attendance were 31 Guildford brothers and two guests: Vincent Quiamboa and his father.

Vincent a parishioner of Holy Angels in Ash who occasionally attends Holy Family in Farnham, had been awarded £150 from the Catenian Bursary Fund. Vincent and his father joined the Circle for dinner during which Bro. President presented him with his cheque. Following the presentation Vincent made an introductory speech outlining his visit to Lourdes at Easter.
